During the quarterly Open House | Open Studios program, the public was invited into artist-in-residence private studio space to view, and participate in, performances under development by residents. Having recognized a need for the performative artist who uses a sense of time and the body as their creative medium, audiences provided necessary feedback, informing the artists in the way their work is viewed and received. Audiences gained a deeper understanding of the artist process of choice and decision-making. This program supported artists working in dance, film/video, installation, sound, and performance art.
